Out of isolation, into the future! We need YOU to contribute.
Our AGM will be held at some point in the future when a venue and appropriate social distancing organisation will allow it to occur. We need nominations for office bearers – President, Secretary & Treasurer as well as committee members to take on specific roles, such as, Programs Officer, Membership Officer, Newsletter Editor, Welfare Officer, Refreshments Officer, Publicity Officer. For more information about what is involved, role descriptions can be found in Committee Roles & Responsibilities on the website under ‘Governance’.
Why not consider this now so that when we get back up and running we are ready to do so effectively. A nomination form can be found under the ‘Forms’ heading on the website. If you wish to talk about a role please contact the Secretary and /or the person currently filling it. Send your form to the Secretary by any means you like. Get it in now so that when the meeting is called we have a complete list of nominees ready to go.
We trust this finds you well and coping with the ‘isolation’.
You will not be surprised to know that the Management Committee has decided to cancel all Term 2 course and activities. Term 3 will be reviewed at a later time. In the meantime don’t forget to have a look at U3A online.
The latest newsletter is found above in Newsletters. Hope you find it of interest. You will see we had a few new courses organised for you.
Don’t forget to stay in touch with us and other members.
If you have not seen ‘From us, for you’ take a look. It highlights how technology helps us to remain connected.

Congratulations to the Silver Tones who last year raised $3160 from their concerts, which will go a long way in helping the Manning Uniting Church’s charity work. Click here to see the Manning River Times article.
